Inspiring School Assemblies for Good Citizenship and the Art of Focus
Now With More Amazingness!
Hi there! I’m Arthur Fratelli, also known as The Amazing Arthur. With 25 years of performing under my belt, I’ve had my share of wild moments—from juggling fire and doing street shows in Omaha’s Old Market during college to learning comedy at Second City in Chicago. My journey has taken me from street performances (where I even cracked a tooth in front of a crowd!) to speaking on the TEDx stage, and along the way, I’ve learned one key truth: kids (and adults) listen best when they’re fully engaged.
As a third grader, a backstage mix-up at a magic show revealed the magician's props to me, and I discovered that MAGIC IS SCIENCE!
That’s why I created “Hocus Pocus: I Can Focus,” a show designed to help students develop focus, resilience, and a love for learning. My program is packed with fun, hands-on activities and motivational lessons that keep students’ eyes off the screen and on something even better—discovering their own potential.
Interactive, High-Energy Entertainment: I bring yo-yos, spinning tops, balloons, juggling, and magic to life on stage. I believe attention craves novelty, and this show is all about keeping students engaged. With laughs, surprises, and lots of interaction, students are part of the experience from start to finish.
Inspiration to Embrace Challenges and Focus: As a dad of five and someone who once struggled to sit still, I know a thing or two about fidgety kids. When I was young, “ADHD” wasn’t even on the radar, but if it were, I’d likely have been the poster child! Through my show, I share my story with students, showing them how they can channel that same restless energy into learning skills, mastering focus, and embracing failure as part of growth.
Lessons on Finding Flow Beyond the Screen: I’m passionate about teaching kids that real magic happens when they use their minds and bodies together. In “Hocus Pocus: I Can Focus,” I show students how they can achieve a flow state by immersing themselves in an activity that challenges them and brings them joy—all without a screen.
Join me on this magical journey, and together, we’ll uncover the wonders of science hidden within the art of magic!
I’m thrilled to bring this assembly program to schools across Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, South Dakota, North Dakota, and beyond. Currently booking for fall, winter, and spring, I’d love to make this year’s programming one your students will never forget. With my background as a former teacher, professional speaker, and performer, I create an assembly that inspires students to develop focus, perseverance, and the courage to learn from their own crazy stories.
If you’d like to bring “Hocus Pocus: I Can Focus” to your school, just reach out! I’d love to work with you to create an inspiring, engaging experience for your students. Together, we’ll show them that learning focus and resilience can be just as exciting as magic tricks—and a whole lot more lasting.
